"In November of 2018, during a bout of 'artist's block' I decided to create a series of small abstracts to move through a large amount of color and feeling, rapidly and without judgement, just to see what I could discover. The result is the LOMAS (Layers of Memory and Sensation) series. Number 6 has an aggressive, spontaneous quality that I really love, and was probably one of the more difficult in the series to create because of its simplicity."
